The United Nations Youth Advisory Panel in Bangladesh has been established to bridge the gap between the United Nations and the youth of Bangladesh by providing constructive recommendations and alternatives on youth issues.
The panel includes: twelve youth representatives, with a balanced mix of skills, locations, and youth organization connections to provide a platform for young people to voice their opinions and ideas on development related issues.
Five action networks have been set up to align with the UN's Cooperation Framework: Education, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship; Climate change; Governance and Decision making; Mental Health; and Gender Equality. By focusing on these areas, we aim to empower young people to become active agents of change in their communities and beyond.
The Panel is a significant initiative that recognizes the importance of youth participation and engagement in achieving sustainable development goals.
