Bangladesh and the United Nations: 50 Years of Partnership

Caption: The flags of Bangladesh, Grenada, and Guinea-Bissau were raised in a ceremony held at the headquarters of the United Nations this afternoon. Yesterday afternoon, the three states were admitted to the United Nations as respectively 136th, 137th, and 138th Members. Present at the ceremony in front of the flagstaff were Kamal Hossein, Foreign Minister of Bangladesh;, Eric Gairy, Prime Minister of Grenada; and Victor Saude Maria, Commissioner for Foreign Affairs of Guinea-Bissau.
