Women and girls have always played a key role in guaranteeing food security and the nutritional well-being of families and communities. Yet they have less access than men to resources such as land, credit, training, agricultural inputs and extension services, as well as to decision-making processes within communities. And this undermines their ability to adapt to climate change.

This #IWD2022, World Food Programme in #Bangladesh pledges to promote gender equality, greater inclusion of women, and equitable access to opportunities and resources to ensure #zerohunger.
