We have to act, urgently, to accelerate changes that add up to better lives on a healthier planet. What happens when millions of people act together for our common future? A lot. Bangladesh Generation Parliament is a platform where children and members of parliament work together on children's policies.

Launched by the UN Secretary-General at the 2018 UN General Assembly, and anchored in UNICEF, Generation Unlimited is a leading global Public-Private-Youth Partnership, bringing together global organizations and leaders including Heads of State, CEOs, Heads of UN agencies, and civil society champions with young people to co-create and deliver innovative solutions on a global scale.

Through innovations ranging from the Alternative Learning Programme to a curriculum overhaul, GenU Bangladesh is rapidly realizing its ambition to skill seventeen million young people by 2025.

“I am also a citizen” initiative has been taken to make the citizens of Bangladesh aware of their rights and responsibilities. This initiative of UNDP is supported by Qizards and Bangladesh Scouts.

Co-created in 2017 by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Citi Foundation, Youth Co: Lab aims to establish a common agenda for countries in the Asia-Pacific region to empower and invest in youth so that they can accelerate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through leadership, social innovation and entrepreneurship.

The Digital Khichuri Challenge is a social hackathon that brings together and supports the youth in creating narratives and platforms that promote peace, tolerance, and diversity to actively counter hateful and divisive narratives.

The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme contributes to peace and development arena through volunteerism worldwide. UNV works with partners to integrate qualified, motivated UN Volunteers into development programme; and promote the value & global recognition of volunteerism. UNV is administered by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Bangladesh. It reports to the Executive Board, comprised of UNDP, UNFPA & UNOPS.

HeForShe is an invitation for men and people of all genders to stand in solidarity with women to create a bold, visible and united force for gender equality. The men of HeForShe aren't on the sidelines. They're working with women and with each other to build businesses, raise families, and give back to their communities.
